Gram Panchayats have been mandated for the preparation of Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) for economic development and social justice utilizing the resources available from Central and State Government.
Objectives:

Promote Inclusive Development: Ensure the participation of all community members, including marginalized groups in planning and decision-making for sustainable growth.

Utilize Available Resources Efficiently: Leverage funds and resources from Central and State Governments to maximize impact in local development initiatives.

Enhance Economic Opportunities: Foster local economic development through initiatives that boost employment, infrastructure and livelihood opportunities.

Achieve Social Justice: Address social inequalities and enhance access to essential services such as health, education and welfare for all community members.
