Gram Panchayat Development Plan

Gram Panchayats have been mandated for the preparation of Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) for economic development and social justice utilizing the resources available from Central and State Government.

Objectives:

  • Promote Inclusive Development: Ensure the participation of all community members, including marginalized groups in planning and decision-making for sustainable growth.

  • Utilize Available Resources Efficiently: Leverage funds and resources from Central and State Governments to maximize impact in local development initiatives.

  • Enhance Economic Opportunities: Foster local economic development through initiatives that boost employment, infrastructure and livelihood opportunities.

  • Achieve Social Justice: Address social inequalities and enhance access to essential services such as health, education and welfare for all community members.

  • Enhance Economic Opportunities: Build capacity and accountability within Gram Panchayats to effectively plan, implement and monitor development activities.
